DeleteOn a wet day, a thunder is heard 6 seconds after lightning. If speed of sound is 350 m/s, the altitude of cloud is?
ReplyDeleteAccording to answer key, it's 2.1km but I think it should be 2.5 km because we need to even consider the speed of lightning.
Answer is 2.1 as h/c would be negligible...
ReplyDeleteAnd guys If you are securing less than 96 than forget the dream of injso as you need to score atleast 40% leaving aside the cutoff
40% of 240 is 96..
So sorry the one who commented Bihar 89 and Piyush
But in case of 3 to 4 questions all the alternatives are wrong and these questions would be deleted or given bonus marks. Hence even a student getting 89 may qualify.
Deleteyes there are 3-4 questions wrong so the students must be benifited with bonus marks........
DeleteIAPT does not grant bonus..Such questions would be deleted ant would be evaluated out of 228.
DeleteIn that case the minimum qualifying marks would be 40% of 228 ie 91.2.
DeleteSO3 2- is similiar to NH3 as both have sp3 hybridization and both have equal no. of lone pairs..

2hours+7 hours=9p.m.
In rajasthan 140 is fine..

ReplyDeleteGENERALLY IAPT DELETE THE WRONG QUESTION SO ALL THE WRONG QUESTIONS WILL GET DELETED SO THE PAPER IS OUT OF 228.
ReplyDeleteWhat would be the cut off for gujarat. I am scoring 95.
ReplyDeleteI think there is a chance. The question was tougher and would be evaluated out of 228.

Let's see
DeleteNo It can be done as follows. I am the one who asked the question
ReplyDelete. 360 DEGREES/365 days*30 days*24 hours/360 deg=2 hours
2hours+7 hours=9p.m.
I am getting 179. I am from ap will i be selected for injso or not
ReplyDeleteHemanth u will surely get seleced ....because of two reasons...first there are many seats from ap and ur score is brilliant.
DeleteI suggest u should start ur preparation for injso. had u joined any coaching for nsejs???
You are going to be among toppers.
DeleteYou are sure of your selection but you want to tell us about your marks .
DeleteI am getting 101. I am from West Bengal? Any chance of getting to stage 2?
ReplyDeletecANT SAY, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE, last year WB was 113...
DeleteBihar 95. Any chance
ReplyDeleteLast year was 114, may be possible due to difficulty level. I answered Shreya too
DeleteCan anyone tell me raj cutoff? last year was 113, I am getting about 140.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell whether I will be selected for 2nd level...?
ReplyDeleteGetting 125-127 in delhi out of 240...
I think so. Because the previous cutoff was 128 and the paper was easier. Also there were some errors so I guess you have a good chance of qualifying.
Delete@madhav thanks but these marks are after taking bonus marks for question which are wrong...
DeleteAny changes in ur prediction??
oh! Twist in the tale! But our maths teacher says the cutoff is going to hover around the 105-110 mark this time. So probably you have got around 115 without errors but it all depends on the iapt answer key which will be out tomorrow as there will probably be some errors so by that answer key if you get around 110 you are probably safe.
DeleteThanks Friend!! Feeling good now... In which institute do u study???
DeleteFIITJEE South Delhi
DeleteI study at FIITJEE N.W. DELHI
DeleteAfter the answer key I am getting 112-116 marks.. Now what's ur opinion??

Last year no student from Chattisgarh qualified as no one could score minimum required 92 marks.

DeleteMay pl check first. Last year cutoff is already on Aryan website

Deletesolutions in website. bloomers again. Their ability to get wrong answers is becoming a bit irritating.
ReplyDeleteDid u all checked.......the answers on the iapt website are wrong....they haven't given any bonus on those 3-4 wrong questions and instead have given awkward options.....
ReplyDeleteThere is a change in the answers of 10 questions when we compare IAPT and reso's answer keys. The questions are- 28, 43,46,50,61,62,65,67,70,72. My score has increased from 95 to 107. Will I qualify from Gujarat?
ReplyDeleteFour are wrong ans inIAPT key
Deleteyes fnds..............a lot of wrong answers and also there is no explation given in the maximum answers.....
ReplyDeleteHEY!!! PREVIOUS YEAR MAHARASHTRA STATE CUT OFF WAS 100 SO THIS YEAR WILL IT INCREASE OR DECREASE?

ReplyDeleteHey I am getting 113 from rajasthan will I get selected? It's from iapt key
ReplyDeleteHi..I am going to get 132 and from AP..Is there any chance? Last year cut off was 150. I think this will decrease because paper is tough..
ReplyDelete94 marks maharastra
ReplyDeleteNo chance... Need atleast 96
DeleteGuys the question in which we were supposed to answer the ratio of outer and inner perimeters of pavements answer should be 7/5 but its given 6/5...
ReplyDeleteWe should get it corrected
HYYY SCORING 105 IN MAHARASHTRA WILL I GET QUALIFY FOR INJSO?
ReplyDeleteHey please tell will I get selected with 110 from rajasthan?????
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmmmmmm.......... I get 121 from IAPT in Raj... four ques are wrong ....Last year 'twas 113.... Our sir says that kota centre has told them that cut off around 115....difficult but never impossible
DeleteThere are (according to me) four (atleast) wrong answers.
ReplyDelete1. Electrochemistry- Ans. is minus 0.41 V, but it is given +1.09V
2. Maths (ab)=(bc)=(ca)=abc, (somewhat like this) answer is 4/5, which is not in options, and they (IAPT) have given 4 as answer.(equate them all to k).
3. Physics, kinetic energy at end of 4 m is asked ,I emphasize, 4 m. Ans is 56J, so 60 J may be the correct ans. But they have given ans 140J, which is KE after 10 m.
4. Maths Pavement one, ans is 7/5, which is given to be 6/5.
If anyone knows the iapt solutions, please post
Kalpit
I get 121 from the ans key of IAPT from Rajasthan
yeah...u are absolutely right ...these only are the incorrect answers given in iapt key....but the KE one is absolutely 140J..that's for sure.
DeleteThere is one more incorrect answer the ratio of segments in the triangle...it should be b/w 1 and 1.5 instead of 1.5 and 2 acc to the IAPT key.
No, it should be 56 Joules. But the triangle can be any of the four options as it only has to be greater than half. BTW how many are you getting?
DeleteKislay, are you a resonite, and to all others I would ask that what should we all do? Kalpit.
DeleteI agree with madhav about triangle one.
no....i am a fiitjeean....do u know how can we get these answers corrected by informing IAPT.
DeleteI am a resonite, Kislay. I think we should either tell IAPT officials( say, school coordinator) or mail them.
DeleteKalpit
We are discussing amongst ourselves. Why not write to IAPT to get them corrected. Does anyone know the process?
ReplyDeleteI guess you should mail them
Deleteeven I also felt the same. Better to inform IAPT authorities. Other wise wrong answers will be considered.
ReplyDeletetill now many papers would have been checked and they might not recheck the papers.
